Core discipline
Surveying & Geomatics
Land, engineering and construction surveying — from first reconnaissance to final as-built.
Service scope
- Topographic Survey
- Engineering Survey
- Construction Survey
- Pipeline Survey
- Control Networks & Benchmarks
- GNSS / RTK Survey
Overview
Surveying and geomatics is the discipline the rest of SEC's services build on. Our field teams establish control, capture terrain and structures, and deliver coordinated, checked geometry for design and construction use.
Work is planned around the accuracy class the project specifies, site conditions and schedule, and checks are run on a dataset before it is issued.
Applications
Topographic & engineering surveys
Site models, profiles and cross-sections for design and tender.
Construction setting-out
Staking, alignment control and verification during execution.
Pipeline & corridor surveys
Route surveys and crossing records for linear infrastructure.
As-built & quantity surveys
Verified as-built geometry and measured quantities.
SEC Capability
SEC delivers surveying as an engineering service, not a data dump.
Control before capture
Survey work starts from a designed control network tied to the project datum.
Method matched to task
GNSS, total station and levelling combined by accuracy class, not habit.
Independent QA/QC
Closed traverses, redundancy and documented checks.

- 03Field acquisitionDetail capture using the method mix the site demands.
- 04Processing & QA/QCAdjustment, verification and independent checks.
- 05Engineering deliverablesDrawings, models and reports issued in the formats your engineers use.
Equipment
CHCNAV
CHCNAV i83 GNSS
A multi-constellation GNSS receiver used for field survey work referenced to the project frame.
CHCNAV
CHCNAV i50 GNSS
A GNSS receiver referenced across SEC's earlier project records.
Leica Geosystems
Leica FlexLine TS07
A total station of the type used on engineering and construction survey scopes.
Leica Geosystems
Leica DNA03 Digital Level
A digital level of the type used on vertical control and repeat height scopes.
Deliverables
- Topographic plans and DTM/DSM surfaces
- Control network schedules and monument records
- Profiles, cross-sections and quantity reports
